RePlay Theatre Performance

There are a team of "actors" and a Conductor who facilitates the Tellers to tell their story. The Conductor is responsible for the interaction between the tellers, actors, musician, and the audience.

Each spontaneous enactment is preceded by the Tellerwords 'Lets Watch' after the enactment the Conductor asks the Teller 'how was it' and in some circumstances a transformation is offered. A transformation is when there is a re-enactment of the teller’s story or part of it, at their request and with their direction.

Playback Theatre is a combination of ritual, art and social interaction using personal story and enactment. This can link people, encourages social inclusion, a sense of community, personal growth and it can be fun.
