RePlay Theatre is currently working with Sound Architect (http://www.soundarchitect.org.uk on a project called "Portraits Side by Side" the aim is to revitalize rural communities and to restore people's life stories. Video and other artistic mediums are being used including enactments by RePlay Theatre.

Three East Sussex commumities are involved and the work with be over a year. A final performance with extracts from each community will be shown at the De La Warr Pavilion in October 2007. Similar extracts will be shown from the partner project from rural communities in France.
